Making the Grade...

With all the plannin' and packin' and payin' (for visas and tickets, and hotels, and shuttles, etc. etc. etc.)   going on, it'd be easy to ease up on the homeschoolin' - I suppose that COULD be one advantage of the HS concept - but were going full throttle. This week, as scheduled, we began what will be a weekly spelling test. JR knows about 50 words - either by sight or through phonics exercises, and is quite proud of his accomplishment. He thought I should share, so, (drumroll please)...the results from week one were:

I read Cervatos response to JR and he laughed, then covered his mouth as if to say "ooop"! I forgot to tell you - when we met the people from Boston with the girl from Angarsk (Raye) Skip kept asking if Rei was born in Russia too!
