I REALLY enjoyed doing the Simple Woman's Daybook last Monday, so I've decided to make it a regular thing:

Outside my Window... Summer is clearing lurking. Warm sun and gentle May breezes...

I am thinking...what an awesome Memorial Day Weekend we had at Basset's Island.

I am thankful for... the seeds that have finally sprouted in the vegetable garden.

From the kitchen... Broccoli, Chicken & Ziti with garlic baquette...

I am creating... my schedule for the upcoming week

I am going... to do very little tonite; go outside and play with JR for a bit, finish the little bit of weekend unpacking I have left, get him to bed, and veg....

I am wearing... terry shorts & Tee - Summer weather is here!!

I am reading... Awakening Grace

I am hoping... the weather remains seasonable this week.

I am hearing... Cap use the bluwer/vac to collect all the tree droppings

Around the house... the dog is in a deep sleep, exhausted from his first full weekend of boating. LTD is playing out on the swings with JR, and my newly painted den (thank you LTD!) needs curtains on the window, and a HUGE pile of ironing sits patiently.

One of my favorite things: lying in the sun on a lazy weekend afternoon.

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week...hang curtains in our bedroom as well as the den, do some ebaying, work on Fall lessons plans, plant the last of the annuals in the front yard.
