Since school lets out next week, JR's Pre-K class is having a week of fun activities to end the year in style. Monday was Picnic day, Yesterday was "Bring Your Favorite Board Game to School" day, and today was Show 'N Tell. When I picked him up at School on Tuesday, his teacher reminded all the kids and parents about the Show 'N Tell, so on the way home, we talked about what he wanted to bring. His first choice was Wacky, but since the dog gets VERY nervous around new people and just barks non-stop, I told him we needed to come up with another plan. His second choice was his Geo-Trax. I told him that was okay, BUT, it's better to bring something unique in - something that most people might not have. He thought for a minute, then declared "I know, I'm gonna bring my LTD, nobody else has one!" He was SO excited, especially since I told him I knew his brother had the day off. When he got home, he couldn't wait to ask him, and was thrilled beyond words when LTD agreed. Actually, his response, was "YES" while pumping his fist...too cute!
patiently waiting by the back door for his Show 'N Tell exhibit
And so, LTD took JR school this morning, prepared to be his little brother's Show 'N tell exhibit. Ironically, LTD graduated from the same PreSchool 21 years ago! He said he was happy to go, and even stopped at Dunkin' Donuts to buy the class some munchkins. I'm sure the kids loved it - though I'm not sure the teacher was thrilled :) After they got home, LTD told me that the teacher asked JR to go first with his presentation, but he asked if he could go at the end. I think he figured he was saving the best for last! Apparently he told his class all about his big brother, including the facts that he is done with school and has a real job and is 26 years old. Most importantly, he said his brother was his best friend.

Back home with his exhibit!
A mother can't ask for more!
