I spent some time this morning contemplating whether or not just surviving this heat wave constitues a "task" suitable for this category, but then decided it probably didnt, so I succumbed to a guilty conscience and came up with a "real" task for the day. While JR and his friend Mitch enjoyed their playdate in the backyard, I decided (reluctantly) to tackle my shed. I say my because we have His 'N Hers sheds. Since Cap is very messy, unorganized and a pack rat (I still love you honey) we can't share a shed like most couples can. And so, I have mine, and he has his. Lately he has taken some initiative and tried to be a little neater out there, but as soon as he spends an afternoon cleaning it out, he slips into his usual self, and within weeks, you literally can't walk into it... He has every tool imaginable, but I can never find the one I need - heck, most times I can't even get my feet in the door since the floor is overrun with "stuff". Anyway, lately my shed was beginning to look like "his". Well, not that bad, but with the change in seasons, I've been pulling stuff out, and putting winter stuff inside, but not taking the time to get organized. this is what the shed looked like BEFORE:

I even got some stuff hauled away already to a donation box, and the rest of the junk is either Cap's and waiting for him when he gets home (sorry honey) or has been trashed.
Glad I tackled this one, but, I suppose it would have been easier if it hadn't been so HOT outside!

It looks great! I have a husband that sounds like yours and the garage and basement could use tackling!
I am getting REALLY tempted to join this Tackle-it-tuesday thing. You are getting SO much done and I keep thinking, "this could be you!" lol!
Sarah
OK, now you're just showing off. I tackled a shower today. I even shaved my legs!
Maybe I'll get my armpits tomorrow.
Here's why I'm a bad blogger. I'm thinking your friends are reading my previous comment and thinking I'm really lazy. So now I need to explain...in addition to the shower, I also took Correia to Mother's Day Out, took Kai and a friend to jump at Putt and Jump, ran around making plans for Bob's surprise 40th birthday party. (Invites in the mail)Then I taught an Absoulte Ab/Firm Butt class at the gym. Lastly, I closed the gym until 10pm. I feel better now. The shower was just "extra".
See Fawn, you got me beat - didn't shave the legs today!
That looks great! I can't believe that I started this Tackle it Thing on Tuesdays!!! I seem to "forget" about it and then I read your blog. Arrgghh! LOL!
Keep it up!
Wow - I am impressed! You are inspiring me to this Tuesday thing. I started today (working my way up to an entire day...this is like training for a Marathon - ha ha).
