...or is anyone else out there already tired of the Olympics hype?
Don't get me wrong, I love the Olympics, especially the Summer Games, but geez, do I have to eat, sleep, and breath it? Television Commercials & special event programs, newspaper & magazine covers, feature stories & editorials, billboards, grocery items (do I really need a coke can with Chinese writing on it?) and just today, the icing on the cake - or more aptly, the straw that's broken this camel's back: Olympic Bulletin Board themes for Kindergartners! Talk about overkill!
The games haven't started and I feel like we should be holding closing ceremonies already. I think that it's a possibility that the only people who love this hype are stars like Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, Angelina, Brad, & Britney. Let's face it, with all the focus on the Summer Games, they're pretty much free to be themselves, and not worry about it making headline news.
