The first entry in my theme, I want to capture all the funny, silly, surprising and cute things that JR says. Some are things he says that take me back, and some are just funny because of the way he pronounces things, but in any case, I thought it was a great way to document his every evolving grasp of the English Language:
Mommy, to JR (after finding a small ball that looks like an "eye" stuffed into his pajama drawer) : Here, can you please put this superball back in the bin with the others?
JR: Um, I'd rather not - that thing kinda freaks me out
Mommy: Why's that?
JR: Well it DOES look like a real eyeball and THAT'S the freaky thing about it...

LTD: Where did you put your shoes, bud? Help me find them. Maybe you left them downstairs.
JR: Well, I suppose thats possible...

JR: When do we have to leave for the dentist?
Poppa: In about an hour.
JR: How long is that?
Poppa: It's 60 minutes.
JR: How long is that?
Mommy: It's two cartoons
JR: OH, now I understand!
