When I first started blogging, I did this Meme for several weeks but now Dawn has revived it, so I'm giving it another shot!

FOR TODAY
31 July 2008

Outside my Window…the waterfall in the fish pond can faintly be heard through the screen on the front door.
I am thinking…I haven't spent nearly as much time with my husband or JR as I should. I will never gets those hours back, but I can make a decision to spend more quality time with them from this point forward.
I am thankful for…My mom. She is spending a few days with us since she hasn't been feeling well, and I am reminded what a strong, Christ-centered woman she is.
From the kitchen…is the smell of SimplyGreen - I just cleaned it!
I am creating…Kindergarten Curriculum
I am going… to buy some groceries today!
I am wearing,,, something my husband would definitely define as "Mommy clothes".
I am reading…What your kindergartner needs to know
I am hoping… To finish my proposed Curriculum for Aug through Dec. today.
I am hearing…. JR trying to convince his dad to take him outside and do something "fun"
Around the house…there are bins/drawers/boxes/bags in just about every room in desperate need of organizing. Add to that stacks of magazines, newspapers, & mail that haven't been touched in way too long!
One of my favorite things…my Dunkin Donuts Iced Latte!
A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week…Work on Lessons Plans, stay caught up with laundry, clean my desk and hopefully pay some bills! Depending on my mom, hopefully spend a few days at boat & Church Summer Picnic on Sunday
Here is a picture thought I am sharing with you

JR, summer of '07 - before the haircut, obviously!

Thanks. I did love the "surfer dude" look he sported for a year, but it got old since shampooing, then combing out his hair was a daily struggle. I figured if I had wanted a child who screamed and cried each morning as I did the hair-combing, I'd have adopted a girl...As many people who said they absolutely loved the long hair, and told me not to cut it, now love the short 'do...
