My daily dose of laughter

While preparing the new schoolroom, I decided to purchase small flags. An American flag, and a Christian flag. You know, the little 12" x 8 ones, that come on a wooden dowel. I also printed out the words to the American Pledge, the Christian Pledge, and the Pledge to the Bible. Each day at VBS the kids recited them, and it seemed an appropriate exercise to continue in school. Well they just arrived in the mail, and I took them from the box. I was actually surprised at how big they seem, maybe since the sticks are more than 2' long.
I showed them to JR, and asked him if he knew which flags they were. His eyes lit up and he said proudly "That's the 'merican flag, and that's the Dinosaur flag!"
For those of you who missed my posts about VBS, the theme this year was "Dinosaur Detectives", thus, in JR's mind, he associated the flag with the theme....
