Stretching it, but we're not telling...

JR had been woking really hard on school work all week, and I wanted to do something fun to end the month of August and our study of ocean animals...we've been out at church every evening this week so I was tired, and not feeling like doing TOO much research. Then I decided to kill 2 birds with one stone. We baked startfish & fish shaped cookies!  Got our science in, AND replenished the junk food supply in the house. When we were done, though, I told him he had to help clean up, and to my surprise, he did all the dishes! I'm likin' this! He said his favorite part of the day was EATING the cookies, but then of course, it was mine, too!
