I often kid Cap that when JR grows up, and looks back at the photographs of himself, he'll wonder where the heck I was, since I am the shutterbug. Once in awhile Cap will grab the camera and snap a few pictures, but often I have to ask him to do it. He just doesn't think about it...
This weekend however, he caught a really great moment JR & I were sharing. It had been a hot, sunny dat at the beach, and we returnd to the boat for dinner rather late. Immediately after eating, he got into his pj's and headed onto the back deck for a snack before bed, and I decided to sit and have a cup of coffee and join him. There was a BEAUTIFUL sunset, and we sat together and watched it set, quickly turning the horizon into a bright band of reds & oranges. Looking at the pictures I am once again reminded how lucky I am, and thankful I need be, that I have been entrusted by God to raise this beautiful little boy

I guess that's the price that we pay for being the photographer!! But it's worth it, isn't it?!
