If he wasn't doing stuff like this,

he just wouldn't be JR. He is as resourceful as the day is long. You see, yesterday we had yet another morning/early afternoon of torrential rain, followed by local flooding. Just when it seemed the entire day would be a huge washout, the sun suddenly poked out around 4;30. I figured it was a good chance to go out and pluck carrots from the garden for dinner - and JR took that as his clue to follow behind me and poke around the soggy back yard. While I was pulling up carrots, it started to drizzle again and I thought for sure it was going to pour. I told JR to go up to the deck, and that I'd meet him there in a minute. He wasn't having it though, and kept begging me to let him go on the trampoline. Problem was it was still drenched from the rain, which makes it very slippery, so I told him he couldn't. He of course needed to know why. All I wanted to do was get my carrots and get back inside, so rather than get into some deep discussion, I told him simply that he couldn't because it was starting to rain. With that he headed up the hill and I figured I was home free. Minutes later, though, while I had my back to him, he walked back down the hill to the trampoline, prepared for the rain... Like I said, he is quite resourceful. Silly perhaps, daring perhaps, but still resourceful. I did let him jump around for the camera, but then on the way back up the hill, gave him a long speech on the dangers of jumping on tramplines with long pointy objects in his hands. Of course he'll only remember that I let him do it - not that I told him it's dangerous and shouldn't do it anymore!

Gotta hand it to him...You implied that he couldn't jump b/c it was raining. LOL
